France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine have agreed to hold a foreign ministerial meeting aimed at bringing a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron had talked with the presidents of Ukraine and Russia in this respect.

The two West European leaders spoke first with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on the implementation of the Minsk Agreements.
