Eighteen Palestinians including women and children have been martyred in an Israeli airstrike on a UN-operated al-Jaouni school in central Gaza.

In a statement, the UN agency for Palestinian Refugees said six of the victims were its staff members.

The martyrdom toll of Palestinians in Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7 last year  has risen to over forty one thousand.
