The United Nations has termed killing of innocent Palestinians as deeply disturbing and unconscionable.

In a statement, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet expressed alarm at the large numbers of Palestinians, particularly children, who have been killed and injured by Israeli forces in occupied Palestinian territory.

She said Israeli forces have, so far, martyred forty Palestinian children in occupied territories including nineteen children in last week alone.
