Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said Japan is a long-standing friend and Pakistan highly values Japan's cooperation in various fields.

Talking to a delegation of Japanese investors in Islamabad, he assured provision of all possible assistance of government to the Japanese investors.

On the occasion, BSP Investment Group led by Takaji Tsuji BSP Investment Group expressed interest in investing one billion dollars in various sectors in Pakistan.

Welcoming the decision of the Japanese investors, Shehbaz Sharif directed the officials of Board of Investment Board to take all necessary steps in this regard as soon as possible.

The Prime Minister termed Japanese investment in Pakistan a good omen for the country's development and creation of employment opportunities.
