In Afghanistan, the death toll has reached over three hundred people due to flash floods in northern part of the country.

In a statement, the UN World Food Programme says at least two thousand homes have been destroyed.

Afghan government has identified the provinces of Badakhshan, Baghlan, Ghor and Herat as the worst hit.
