Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser says China Pakistan Economic Corridor and One Belt One Road initiative are projects of development and prosperity for the region.

Talking to Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong in Islamabad today (Wednesday), he said the Pakistani Parliament will continue to play its role in making this mega project successful.

He said Islamabad is proud of its everlasting friendship with China and these unique relations based on mutual respect, trust, interests and strategic partnership are an example for the world.

The Speaker said both counties share a common position on regional and global issues and always supported each other's stance at every forum.

Asad Qaisar said seminars are being organized in all provinces including Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan to expedite the completion of CPEC under the auspices of Parliament.

On this Occasion,The Chinese Ambassador said his country values its ideal friendship with Pakistan and is keen to further expand cooperation with Pakistan in different sectors.
