PIA flight carrying 120 stranded Pakistanis leaves Dhaka

A special PIA flight carrying 120 Pakistanis, including 66 students, stranded in Bangladesh left Dhaka for Islamabad today.

Pakistan's High Commissioner to Dhaka Imran Ahmed Siddiqui saw off the passengers at Shah Jalal Airport in Dhaka.

The flight is part of Pakistan's special repatriation operation to bring back thousands of its citizens stranded across the globe through PIA and other airlines.

Meanwhile, a special PIA charter flight carrying stranded Pakistanis in New York will depart from New Jersey for Lahore on Sunday.

Pakistani government has asked PIA to operate more flights from the US for repatriation of Pakistani citizens.

All citizens, who wish to take these flights have been asked to contact nearest Pakistan diplomatic office in major US states for registration.
