Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organization has denounced the death of pro-freedom Kashmiri leader Ashraf Sehrai in Indian custody, demanding the United Nations to probe the matter.                                   

In a statement, the Council said death of the Hurriyat leader cannot be left uninvestigated.                                         

The Council also condemned ill-treatment of Kashmiri detainees by India to the extent of denying their medical care needs.
