The World Health Organization has warned that new Omicron Covid-19 variant may more easily reinfect people who have already had virus or been vaccinated than previous variants.

In a statement, the Chief of WHO Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said the Omicron could also cause milder disease than Delta.
