UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has called on Israel to reopen humanitarian access to the Gaza Strip following the closure of key aid crossings.                

In a statement, the Secretary-General underscored that humanitarian assistance is indispensable for the survival and well-being of civilians in Gaza.

Israeli authorities have closed several crossings into Gaza.
