Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister, Dr. Hassan Askari Razvi says the provincial government will fully facilitate Election Commission to hold free, fair and transparent elections on 25th of next month.

Talking to newsmen in Lahore on Saturday, he said the caretaker government will fulfill its responsibilities in this regard with utmost honesty.

Dr. Hassan Askari said the Caretaker government will provide even playing field to all political parties, as per law, in the upcoming general elections.

Meanwhile, a high-level meeting, chaired by caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Dr. Hassan Askari Rizvi, was held in Lahore on Saturday to review over all law and order situation.

During the meeting, caretaker Punjab Chief Minister was briefed about law and order situation prevailing in the Punjab and the measures taken for protection of lives, properties and honour of the citizens.

Speaking on this occasion, the caretaker Chief Minister said that all possible measures will be taken for holding fair and free elections.

He said that it is our prime responsibility to hold peaceful and transparent elections.
