Minister for Economic Affairs Omar Ayub Khan has said Pakistan values the bilateral and friendly relations with Japan.

During a virtual meeting with the Chief Representative JICA Pakistan Shigeki Furuta, he said Japanese economic assistance has played a vital role in the socio economic uplift of Pakistan.

Shigeki Furuta said his country's assistance for Pakistan is currently focused on social sector, disaster management, water treatment, and infrastructure and agriculture sector.
