Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country while very cold in north Balochistan during the next twelve hours. 

However, rain and snowfall over hills is expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan. 

Dense fog is likely to previal in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning: 

Islamabad and Peshawar six degree centigrade, Lahore eleven, Karachi twelve, Quetta minus six, Gilgit zero, Murree minus one and Muzaffarabad two degree centigrade. 

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy with very cold is expected in Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramulla while cloudy and chances of rain-and snowfall is expected in Leh.

Temperature recorded this morning, Srinagar minus one  degree centigrade, Baramulla and Pulwama zero, Jammu twelve, Leh minus nine, Shopian and Anantnag one degree  centigrade.
