The electricity prices continue to decrease due to prudent measures of the government.

According to a statement issued by the Power Division, National Electric Power Regulatory Authority has once again reduced the prices of electricity by 1.14 rupees per unit on account of Fuel Adjustment.

The price reduction will be applied in the bills of December.

The Notification was issued on the request of Central Power Purchasing Agency.

Meanwhile, Minister for Energy Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari, in a statement, has said that the government is determined to make electricity more affordable for people.
