Supreme Court of Pakistan has directed the Secretary Interior to register a first information report (FIR) of the murder of journalist Arshad Sharif by tonight.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial issued the directives today during hearing of the suo motu notice regarding Arshad Sharif's murder in Kenya.

The court directed that the copy of the FIR be submitted to it by tomorrow.
