In the first phase of the project, the focus was on the power related projects and in the second phase, the government is focusing on the establishment of special economic zones which is a great development. Certain employment opportunities are being generated through this mega project. The need of the hour is to ensure the timely completion of all the development projects under CPEC within specified time. China is a time-tested friend of Pakistan and both the countries are determined to defend any conspiracy against the CPEC.

This is a fact that CPEC added a new dimension to Pakistan-China all-weather strategic cooperative partnership, which was based on mutual understanding and respect.
