The Punjab Institute of Language, Art and Culture (PILAC) will upload to its website 100 books on various topics published under its umbrella.

In a media interview, Director General PILAC Dr Sughra Sadaf said the books will be in PDF format and this step has been taken to provide people with reading material online amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

She said that PILAC has planned to hold a folk conference online this month for which Punjabi folk poets, writers and intellectuals will be invited.

Sughra Sadaf said that PILAC will establish a permanent art gallery featuring photographs of cultural and literary icons, eminent writers, poets and intellectuals, and work on this project has been started.
