Hot, dry weather expected in most parts of country

Hot and dry weather is likely to prevail over most parts of the country, while very hot in Sindh and Balochistan during the next twelve hours.

However, dust-thunderstorm-rain is expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:   

Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar twenty-six degree centigrade, Karachi twenty-nine, Quetta twenty-three, Gilgit sixteen, Murree fifteen and Muzaffarbad twenty degree centigrade.     

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy weather with chances of rain-thunderstorm is expected in Srinagar, Anantnag and Baramulla, partly cloudy in Jammu and Pulwama while partly cloudy weather with chances of light rain in Shopian and Leh.     

Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar and Anantnag fifteen degree centigrade, Jammu twenty-two, Leh seven, Pulwama and Shopian fourteen and Baramulla thirteen degree centigrade.
