The coronavirus continues to spread in the United States and health officials say the worst is yet to come.

Talking to Fox news, US Surgeon General Jerome Adams warned that this will be the hardest and the saddest week of most Americans' lives.

He said Virus is not going to be localized but going to be happening all over the country.

In spite of grim situation, governors of eight states resisted issuing stay-at-home orders aimed at slowing the spread of the virus while churches held large Palm Sunday services in defiance of orders.                        

More than 331,151 people have been infected and over 9,420 have died of coronavirus in the United States so far.
