Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza says Pakistan and Turkiye share common perception on all national and international issues in pursuit of closer military and strategic cooperation. 

He was talking to Commander of Turkish Land Forces General Musa Avsever, who called on him at Joint Staff Headquarters in Rawalpindi.

Besides security and regional issues, particularly the latest development in Afghanistan, matters relating to enhancing the level and scope of bilateral military engagements and cooperation were discussed.

During the meeting, both the sides reaffirmed the commitment that being 'all-weather' friends, Pakistan and Turkey will continue to forge deeper strategic ties.

They agreed that both countries share great history of cordial relations and deep spirit of brotherhood which is being transformed into enduring partnership.

Speaking on the occasion, the dignitary lauded the high professionalism of Pakistan's armed forces and acknowledged their sacrifices in fight against terrorism.

Chairman JCSC thanked visiting dignitary for acknowledging Pakistan Defence Forces achievements in war against terrorism, sacrifices and contribution for regional peace and stability.
