US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has urged Afghan leaders and the Taliban to accelerate progress toward a negotiated political settlement and permanent ceasefire to bring an end of the conflict.     

In a statement in Washington, US Secretary of State said ceasefire act will allow refugees to return to their homes safely.   

He also announced more than two hundred sixty-six million dollar in new humanitarian aid for Afghanistan.
