North Korea fired an intermediate-range ballistic missile over Japan on Tuesday which prompted Japan to activate country's missile alert system and ordered people to take shelter.                 

Meanwhile, South Korea's President Yoon Suk-yeol called the launch a provocation that violated UN regulations.
