A meeting of the Departmental Development Working Party was held in Gilgit and approved six development projects costing over 457 million rupees.

The meeting was presided over by the additional Chief Secretary Development and Chairman DDWP Aziz Ahmed Jamali discussed eleven schemes.

It was also decided to conduct a fact-finding inquiry on the projects of the power sector.

Chairman said that these projects would be implemented   to provide immediate benefits to people.

He said the Government is committed for fast track development of GB on priority basis.
