Complete shutdown will be observed in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, tomorrow, against the Indian Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to the territory.

Call for the strike has been given by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference and other parties to convey a strong message to India and the international community that people of Jammu and Kashmir are not ready to accept anything short of right self-determination as pledged by the United Nations.

Indian police detained an activist while he was protesting in front of UN office in Srinagar against the Amit Shah’s visit to Kashmiri valley.

On the other hand, the Chief of the prison service in India-occupied Kashmir has been murdered.

Meanwhile, the occupied territory is undergoing widespread cordon and search operations coupled with increased restrictions and heavy deployment of Indian army, police and Central Reserve Police Force at every nook and corner of the territory on the Indian Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit.
