Pakistan has welcomed United Nations Security Council's strong condemnation of attempted terrorist attack on the Pakistan Stock Exchange in Karachi. 

In a tweet on Thursday, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said perpetrators, organizers and sponsors of such reprehensible acts must indeed be brought to justice.

He said terrorism is the most serious threat to regional and international peace.
