In India, three thousand six hundred and eighty nine deaths and three hundred ninety two thousand new Covid cases have been reported in a day.

One week lockdown extension has also been announced in the capital New Delhi from tomorrow while the city's hospitals have been overwhelmed with shortage of beds, drugs and oxygen.
