President Dr Arif Alvi has urged the investors to take benefit of government's construction package.

Addressing a concluding ceremony of Pakistan International Property Expo 2021 in Islamabad, he said Pakistan has adopted a very liberal investment policy to ensure a favourable business climate, specifically in construction sector.

The President said development in construction sector will stimulate more than fifty allied industries, create job opportunities and reduce poverty.

Quoting examples from Islamic history, he said following the golden principles of Islam, investors should invest their money instead of accumulating wealth.

The President said export-oriented industry should be promoted to increase revenue for the country.

He also stressed the need to utilize local human resource for development of the country.

Meanwhile, addressing a ceremony through video link at University of Sindh Jamshoro, President Dr Arif Alvi stressed on bridging the gap between universities and industries for development of the country.

The President said collaboration between universities and industries is necessary for sustainable development and solving problems at local level.
