Human Rights Day is the day in 1948 the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Ministry of Human Rights in Pakistan. The Human Rights Relief and Revolving Fund in Pakistan was established in 1995. Through these funds financial assistance is provided to the victims and affectees of human rights violation including kidnapping, rape, police encounters, arrest of women, extra-judicial deaths and tortures.  Applications are received directly from the victims, NGOs and through Regional Directorates of Human Rights.

Some examples of human rights include: The right to liberty and freedom. The right to the pursuit of happiness. The right to live your life free of discrimination.
