PM sends Kaira to Quetta‚ asks Raisani to quit his trip and return
Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf will meet members of the Hazara Community in Quetta next week
In view of the prevailing situation in Quetta‚ Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has directed Balochistan Chief Minister to quit his foreign trip and reach home.
He also directed the Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira to reach Quetta and monitor the situation.
Raja Pervez Ashraf also directed that the Balochistan governor and the chief secretary be updated about the law and order situation.
He directed to dispatch a C-130 and shift the injured in Quetta to better health care facilities in Karachi.
The prime minister said the injured should be provided with all possible medical treatment.
He also announced monetary relief for the victims: Rs. 1 million for each killed and one hundred thousand for each injured in Thursday's deadly bomb blasts in Quetta.
