Addressing the inauguration function of four local bulletins from Abbotabad on Wednesday afternoon‚ he said Radio Pakistan has the credit to first broadcast the news of independence and now is serving the people in twenty two different languages. He said there are over 80 tv channels and 108 fm stations but they still can not compete with Radio Pakistan on its variety of information in different languages.
He said in today's era comprehensive news have got more importance where we are constantly working to bring improvement in our different news format with the aim to project what they people want to listen and share their problems. He said Radio Pakistan would continue its journey towards its basic aim to make our country more concrete‚ project its image in the world and to consolidate democracy.He said installation of 400 KV transmitter at Peshawar will also enhance scope of Radio Pakistan's
transmission.

Radio Pakistan‚ on the persistent demand of the people of Hazara division has launched four news bulletins from its Abbottabad station this evening.
In this connection‚ a ceremony held at Radio Pakistan Abbottabad Director General Radio Pakistan Murtaza Solangi presided while Minister of State for Professional Education and Technical Affairs Sardar Shahjehan Yousuf and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Hajj‚ Auqaf and Religious Affairs Haji Nimroz Khan were the chief guests.
Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Hajj‚ Auqaf and Religious Affairs Haji Nimroz Khan appreciated Radio Pakistan for launching news bulletins in four languages and expansion of current affairs channel of National Broadcasting Service from Abbottabad. He said being front line province in war against terrorism‚ educating and creating awareness among people of the province in regional languages by Radio Pakistan will help a lot in
strengthening democracy.

Speaking on this occasion‚ Director News Radio Pakistan Ghulam Qadir Beg termed launching of news bulletins in four languages and inauguration of NBS from Abbottabad as a big
step in the history of Radio Pakistan.
Minister of State for Professional and Technical Education Sardar Shahjehan Yousuf termed inauguration of news bulletins in three regional languages as a gift from Radio Pakistan to the people of Hazara Division. He gave some proposals for enhancing standard of Radio Pakistan Abbottabad transmission. He also assured the government's every possible support to Radio Pakistan for enhancing its
infrastructure.
The bulletins will be broadcast in three regional languages of Hindko‚ Pushto and Gojri and national language Urdu to highlight the developmental and socio-economic activities in the area.
The Urdu news bulletin will be aired at 06.50 p.m.‚ Pushto at 06.55 p.m.‚ Hindko at 07.50 p.m. and Gojri at 07.55 p.m. daily.
