Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated with religious and traditional zeal throughout the country.
Some social traditions are associated with it includes applying hena (Mehndi) to hands‚ wearing of colourful bangles by young girls and women and special dishes on the occasion of Eid. Some of these traditions have been have been replaced by the latest technology.One of them used to be sending Eid cards which is no more fashion now a days. In the recent past‚ people used to wait for postman carrying Eid cards but now mobiles are being used for sending Eid greetings and messages.
Intellect (Literature) and business activity was associated with Eid cards because Urdu poetry and beautiful pictures were printed on Eid cards and many people used to earn money by printing and selling Eid cards which has become part of past now. Now‚ one receives Eid greetings through mobiles
