For the last 38 years‚ Khalid Javaid has devoted himself to the promotion and preservation of Pakistan's traditional cultural heritage with special emphasis on projection and perpetuation of arts and crafts of Pakistan.
In view of his vast knowledge and expertise in the craft heritage of Pakistan‚ he was included in the international team of experts nominated by UNESCO for preparation of a comprehensive report on Cultural Tourism in Pakistan.
