The Sindh Assembly was informed on Tuesday that Child Protection Units are being established in Larkana and Mirpurkhas divisions soon
In Sindh Assembly during question hour on Tuesday Sindh Minister for Social Welfare Nargis N.D. Khan said there are three Child Protection Units which are providing helpline facilities under its number 1122 in Karachi‚ Hyderabad and Sukkur. She said two centres will also be established in Larkana and Mirpurkhas divisions soon.
It is aimed at providing shelter‚ legal aid‚ medical treatment and education facilities to deserving children of the province.
Sindh Minister for Zakat and Ushr said government is planning to start Khud Rozgar Scheme through Zakat fund under which three lac rupees will be given to the jobless deserving people to start their own business.
