Posted Date: 31st July, 2012 Last updated at 00:00 PSTAnti-load shedding protests continue in various parts of the countryThe people protested against power load shedding in various parts of the country on Tuesday.In Lahore‚ the demonstrators blocked the Ring Road in the Shad Bagh area disrupting traffic.
A protest was also held against the load shedding at Motorway near Sargodha.
As a result the Motorway from Salam Interchange to Bhera Interchange was closed.
Police resorted to baton charge and tear gas to disperse the protestors.
And in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa‚ people protested against power load shedding in Lakki Marwat and set on fire the PESCO office.They also blocked the Bannu-Mianwali Road‚ disrupting the traffic.
