Syria crisis: Fresh clashes in Aleppo
In Syria‚ government forces are continuing their assault with artillery‚ ground forces and helicopter
Officials said one area‚ Salah al-Din‚ has been recaptured but rebels say the battle there was still going on.
UN observers have reported an upsurge in violence in the city.
On the other hand‚ Syria's top diplomat in London has resigned in protest against the "violent and oppressive" acts of President Bashar al-Assad's regime.
Meanwhile‚ the US and Turkey have agreed to step up efforts to achieve "political transition" in Syria.
As the crisis deepened‚ Iran which is a close ally of Damascus has warned Turkey not to intervene militarily.
