Chief Election Commissioner Fakhruddin G Ebrahim released the new computerized electoral rolls in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Talking to newsmen‚ on the occasion he said with the issuance of these lists first phase of the electioneering process has started in the country.
There are over eighty-four point three million registered voters in the electoral rolls.
He said the new electoral rolls have been prepared in collaboration with NADRA these would help conduct free‚ fair and transparent elections in the country.
