Posted Date: 31st July, 2012 Last updated at 00:00 PSTSafeguard Interests and sovereignty through all possible means: IRANIran has declared to safeguard its interests and sovereignty through all possible means.Iranian Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi‚ has said Persian Gulf waterway is vital for interest of Iran and that of the entire world.In an interview‚ he said Iran will act in concord with the world as long as Iranian interests are not jeopardized.
He made it clear that however Iran has its own reservations about defense of national sovereignty in the context of thwarting foreign threats.
Salehi said that under emergency conditions‚ Iran will safeguard its international interests and sovereignty through any possible means.
