Sindh Governor says political understanding among political parties is must for the cause of democracy
Sindh Governor Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan has said that political understanding among political parties is must for the cause of democracy.
He was addressing a ceremony in Karachi for handing over fifty police vans to Inspector General Police Sindh. The vehicles have been provided by Karachi Port Trust to the Sindh police.
The Governor said that with the induction of these vehicles the police fleet will be strengthened and supplement the efforts of police to maintain peace in Karachi.
To a question about the MQM's initiative for holding round table conference and meetings with other political parties‚ the Governor said it is a positive step and need of the hour.
