Posted Date: 7th July, 2012 Last updated at 00:00 PSTPakistan Observer: PBC installs FM-93 Transmitter in QuettaIslamabad-Radio Pakistan is installing an FM-93 transmitter in Quetta to provide community broadcasts to the people of the provincial capital and adjoining areas.A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting presided over by Director General Radio Pakistan Murtaza Solangi at PBC Headquarters here on Friday.
The meeting was informed that equipment of the transmitter has already reached and it will be installed before the end of the current month.
PBC Director General said this will be the 24th transmitter of the FM-93 family of Radio Pakistan which is the largest FM network of the country.
The meeting also decided to replace the old transmitter of FM-101 youth and entertainment channel of Radio Pakistan in Quetta by the end of this month.-INP
