Posted Date: 21st June, 2012 Last updated at 00:00 PSTStrict action will be taken against protestors involved in harming public lives‚ properties: CMPunjab Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that people must keep an eye on the elements who turn their peaceful agitation into violent protests.He was presiding over a high level meeting regarding law and order in the province in Lahore on Thursday.He said that strict action will be taken against those who are found involved in harming human lives and properties.
He also advised the law enforcing agencies to establish a control room to monitor the protests and demonstrations.
He also directed the police to maintain law and order in collaboration with district peace committees‚ ulemas and local eminent.
