Pakistan’s defence policy should not be considered as its weakness. Pakistan’s nuclear program is purely defensive. The United States is supporting India to counter China and Pakistan in the region. The United States also wants India to be the part of Nuclear Suppliers Group which is against the interest of regional countries. Pakistani forces are determined to make all necessary measures for self defence. Pakistan has so for demonstrated patience and the world has also endorsed Pakistan’s wish for peace and its intentions to resolve all outstanding issues with India through dialogue.
