Prime Minister Imran Khan is highly concerned with the situation emerged after Sahiwal incident. He has directed for transparent investigation of the incident. There is no doubt that Punjab Police requires major structural reforms and training to execute its duties. Political influence of the previous governments has destroyed the Police department. Cases like Model town incident and killing of Naqeeb Ullah are examples of atrocities committed by Police department. PTI led government is determined to improve traditional police system. The incumbent government would ensure that justice has been served without any prejudice and discrimination.
