The Trump Administration has finally acknowledged Pakistan’s stance regarding Afghan dispute. It is a golden opportunity for Pakistan to come forward and emerge as a key player in regional politics. Trump wants to resolve Afghan dispute to gain popularity before election. The incumbent government should establish a special wing in foreign office to pursue Afghan peace process. It is a good omen that Afghanistan administration is realizing Pakistan’s worth in peace process. Afghan-led and Afghan-owned peace process is the ultimate and most viable solution to Afghan dispute.
