Dr. Muhammad Khan (Defense Analyst): BJP won the previous elections with the economy improvement as the main agenda. Rather than to bring economic reforms, BJP mainly focused on anti-Pakistan and anti-Minorities policies and promoted extremism and Hindutva in the country that is why BJP has faced worst defeat in five states.  Keeping in view the poor performance of ruling party, the election results were expected. The Indian government and forces worked together to set worst examples of brutalities in Indian Held Kashmir just to please the extremist organizations in India. The current election results have set tone for the 2019 election
