Pakistan and Malaysia have always enjoyed cordial and balanced ties. Both the countries have potential to cooperate in the field of training, military exercises, research and defense industry collaboration. Pakistan has always played a very positive role in the development of Malaysia including formulation of Malaysian constitution and establishment of Malaysian air lines as well. Dr.Mahtir is a dynamic and visionary leader and despite of US sanctions, he took great initiative to take Malaysia out of the crises and eradicate corruption from Malaysian Society. Pak-Malaysia relations continued to develop over the years, including in the defense realm. Both sides have been exploring collaboration in their military-to-military ties and experience sharing with regard to economic revival and corruption eradication.
