Tahir Khan (Expert on Afghan Affairs): The visit of Abdullah Abdullah to Pakistan is a positive development. There is no consensus on negotiations terms among the political leadership of Afghanistan. Afghan-led and Afghan-owned peace process is the ultimate solution to Afghan dispute. Unfortunately, Kabul has always blamed Pakistan for political instability in Afghanistan. Pakistan has always offered its sincere facilitation in Afghan peace process. However, it is sole responsibility of the Afghan leaders to make the reconciliation process successful. It is responsibility of the world community to play its positive role for the settlement of Afghan dispute. There are some elements in the region that are envious of Afghan peace. The Kabul government must identify the peace spoilers who want to use Afghan soil against Pakistan.
