Dr. Zahid Anwar Khan (Expert on International Relations): The important BRT project will be helpful in overcoming the issue of traffic in the capital city of KPK province. The people of the province will now avail comfortable and cheaper transport facility. This mega project is a gift of the PTI government to people of Peshawar. The government must also ensure the construction of such projects in other districts of the province as such projects also provide the job opportunities. The Asian Development Bank and AFD had provided 593 million dollars loan for the project, while the remaining amount was provided by the provincial government. The main track is connected to seven different areas of the city so that the people can travel from their areas in small buses to reach the main route.
