We have not been very wise in discussing IMF packages with IMF team in the history.IMF sometimes pass unnecessary policies and conditions which are not relevant and we do not take stand against those conditions. Sometime those conditions are not beneficial and we accept them and sometimes we either are not sincere or do not work hard for structural reforms. The countries which do not take concrete steps for structural reforms have to go back to IMF for bailout packages. Due to unstable political situation in the country and negligence of previous governments, we could not perform well to uphold economy of the country. Wise economic measures must be taken in order to carry out major reforms and economic development. It is hoped the incumbent government will not accept irrational conditions imposed by IMF against bailout package.
