Dr. Haider Mehdi (IR Expert from Sharjah): Narendra Modi has annexed Kashmir without the consultation of super powers. Prime Minister Imran Khan has to make a strong case and Pakistan's perspective at UNGA forum and to urge the world to give Kashmiris their right to self-determination according to the UN Resolutions. Pakistan so far has made dynamic diplomatic efforts to catch the attention of world over Kashmir issue. It is also a fact that the United Nations does what the United States wants it to do. President Trump in his statement said that he had talked to Modi over Kashmir issue and said that everything is under control there. I predict that Laddakh is going to be an American Airbase in future as United States is supporting India just to contain China in the region. Imran Khan needs to take certain steps to mobilize the world over Kashmir issue. United States and other European countries must support Kashmir cause.
