Pakistan and China are strengthening economic relations with focus on increasing bilateral trade volume. Pakistan wants duty-free access to Chinese markets and making business-friendly policies to attract more and more investors from China. Beijing is already playing a pivotal role in improving Pakistan’s economy. China is also playing an important role for regional peace by facilitating Afghan peace process. Prime Minister Imran Khan will seek financial help and assistance to improve current economic situation of the country. Incumbent government realizes the importance of regional integration and connectivity for economic revival. CPEC is a great opportunity for Pakistan to enhance regional trade and boost economic activities in the country.
